November 26: We hunted the double ladder stand - saw zero deer.

December 17: We hunted out of an old barn - saw zero deer.

December 26: Hunted the Blue Shooting House on a friends land.  Saw three deer - two bucks and one not sure of probably a doe.  The two bucks were 1.5 year old deer - one was a spike and the other a 4 point.  They only shoot mature bucks on this land and we let them walk - to Ambers protest :)

December 29: We hunted the double ladder stand - saw 3 deer but no luck.

Hunting Pictures 2002-2003

Amber and Austin both love the outdoors! They had rather be outside rambling than inside watching TV or playing video games ... I'm glad. They both have BB guns and shoot a lot in the backyard. Amber has a Red Ryder and Austin has a Little Buck. They are good kids and a lot of fun to haul around.

I'll post pictures and stories throughout the year.

This is a hunting trip Amber, Austin and I went on at the first of gun season when it was still warm.

That Red Ryder was a blazing! They put so many rounds down range the barrel was red hot.
