2005-06 Dove Season
December 31, 2005 - Had a great dove hunt! Only bad news was Austin is sick and had to stay home.
September 10, 2005 - Dove hunted at the opening day field. The kids had a big time. Austin had a football game that morning and we made it to the field around noon. We shot several birds. Amber had a harder time this year - the birds were flying high and fast - that's tough on a 12-year old with a low brass 20-gauge.
September 17, 2005 - Dove hunted the same field - had a good time. Scott came up with his kids - they played all afternoon. The kids had a blast.
November 12, 2005 - Peaches died - tough loss. She was a great dog! Lived 12 years.
December 29, 2005 – Dove hunted at Jim's in the mid-day. Had a good time - lots of birds in the field when we arrived at 11:30am. We saw quite a few birds - most were high and fast. It was fun - killed a few.
